Important three things to have in mind before purchasing a laptop

Well so I was recently fed up with my laptop Samsung series 9 because it was creating many glitches, Asus Zenbook UX305 came across me and I reviewed it. It seemed like a reasonable replacement. I bought the Asus Zenbook UX305 for $699.  It was thin, light weight laptop that just seemed faultless.

Now that I have this device and I wont be changing it for a period of time, I have to deal with the menaces and de-menaces of this device and I must say I have some regrets, so I am going to purify those three things so that whenever you go, seeking for a laptop, you could consider these for better selection.

“SSD Is Required”

The first thing to know here is, what is SSD? SSD stands for Solid-state drive. Actually , the Asus Zenbook UX305 I bought has as SSD drive and a substantial 256GB one at that. The SSD is one of the main reasons why I bought this Asus Zenbook. Trust me, buying a laptop without a SSD is a inanity. SSD helps the device to run significantly faster than their mechanical couterparts. They produce less heat and ingest less power, which is vital for a laptop.

Although having an SSD provides you with less storage capacity but the cloud does much of the heavy storage work, doesn’t it? If you really want a good advice then here it is, DONOT BUY A LAPTOP WITHOUT A SSD.

“Backlit Keys Are Essential”

One of the repentances about buying Asus Zenbook UX305 is that this laptop lacks the feature of Backlit keys. I never realized how vital this feature was until I got this feature in my Samsung series 9. I used to use this feature quite rarely but it was essential for me at times.

It may seem like a small not-so-important thing but I am realizing now, how important that was. And believe me, I won’t ever buy another laptop which lacks this feature.

“Keyboard And Touchpad”

What is the first thing you look for in a laptop? Well , if you are shopping online, you can easily get fooled by just having a look at the features given in the description, like big screen, comfortable touch, SSD, more megapixel camera etc.

The most important thing you want in a laptop is easy and comfortable keypad and superior touch. What if you have this amazing device but the touch is unresponsive at times and does not satisfy you, or the keypad you are using is too hard and scratchy, obviously you wont like the laptop.

And what comes next? Well I think it’s the screen, and mainly the brightness too. Well if your screen is so smooth and perfectly finished, you will be having fun using it. The Asus Zenbook UX305 has an amazing screen but another fault is the not-so-bright screen that troubles me while working in a bright sunny day when my windows are open and the sunlight is screeching in my room.

Well to conclude the article, the main thing we are trying to tell you is before purchasing a laptop, you should take a good look at it from every angle so that it would not cause you any trouble after you have purchased it. Or another thing that you could do while buying a laptop online is to buy it from a website which is offering you free return or no restocking fee, so if you don’t like the device in any way, you can easily return it and get rid of it.
